A failed defection sent Carmen back to Cuba to face the repercussions of her actions. Distraught and disillusioned, she saw no hope until Mother Teresa of Calcutta whispered three simple words in her ear. Carmen’s story is one of a woman who has found joy and purpose despite decades of inquiry and persecution.
