A double feature of The Hitch-Hiker and Swing!. The Hitch-Hiker (1953), directed by Ida Lupino, was the first American film noir directed by a woman. Swing! (1938) was directed by Oscar Micheaux, who is regarded as the first African-American feature filmmaker. The Hitch-Hiker is the first showing, followed by Swing!, which begins immediately after, starting at 01:11:00.
